A Prison Consultant is an expert who prepares defendants who are expecting to serve a State Prison sentence. I spent several years in New York State Prison, and have worked professionally in the field of criminal justice since my release. Calling upon my depth of experience, I teach clients how to successfully cope with incarceration, and how to prepare, from day one, for success upon release.

That’s why you call me. Fear of the unknown is what can make a difficult process unbearable. Beginning with our first conversation, we will focus on your situation and how I can help you. I will guide you through everything you’ll need to know beginning the moment you are sentenced. I will explain where you will go every step of the way, in advance, making the process for you and your family much, much more bearable.. You will also receive a copy of the 300+ page Prison Mentor Handbook and will have access to the resource-rich client portal of the web site.

Everyone's prison experience is different, and I take that into account when designing our consulting agenda. Our goal is to get you in and out safely, as comfortably and as quickly as possible. 

You are not alone.

Most clients prefer to meet at their home. I have office space available if you prefer. Consulting session length can vary but generally last around 2-3 hours or until you run out of questions. For this reason, I don’t book a specific finish time. I’ll be available as long as needed, and we can schedule follow-up sessions as needed.

I encourage you to invite family members and any close friends who will be supporting you during your incarceration. I will explain how they can support you as I teach you all how to plan for your respective roles in your prison experience.
